Alexis Rodriguez-Smith is a leader in somatic healing, breathwork, and embodied expression, dedicated to guiding individuals into a deeper connection with their bodies, voices, and creative power. With a foundation in transpersonal psychology, various movement modalities like Vinyasa Yoga & Classical & Contemporary Pilates, and nervous system education, her work bridges the science of physiological transformation with the art of presence.
She is the founder of EMBODYMIND Somatic Wellness, an approach that blends breathwork, meditation, somatics, and creative expression to support integration and healing. Through her Somatic Movement Facilitator Training, Advanced Breathwork Mentorships, and EMBODYMIND App, she empowers facilitators, healers, and seekers to deepen their practice and refine their ability to hold space.
A passionate teacher and writer, she facilitates The Process, a space where poetry and somatic exploration intersect for personal alchemy. She also leads transformational retreats, immersive workshops, and private mentorships, helping individuals harness their nervous system's wisdom and reclaim their voices in life and work.
In addition to her somatic and breathwork facilitation, Alexis integrates intentional plant medicine work as a tool for healing, self-inquiry, and nervous system support. Through psychedelic-assisted journeys, microdosing education, and sacred ceremonies, she offers a grounded and trauma-informed approach to working with plant medicine for mental health, creativity, and transformation. Her facilitation creates a safe and intentional space for integration, helping individuals deepen their connection to self and their healing process.
With over a decade of experience guiding clients worldwide, Alexis specializes in nervous system and trauma resolution, somatic healing, and embodied leadership. Whether through movement, voice, or writing, her work invites radical self-acceptance, integration, and the courage to express one's truth.
